Tanto Metro and Devonte Celebrates 10 (Ten) Years Of Hitmaking In the Music Industry

Dimmie Joe Muzik is proud to announce that this year Tanto Metro and Devonte are celebrating ten (10) years of hit making as a duo in the music industry; The Dynamic Duo who brought you hits such as “Everyone Falls In Love”, “Say Wooee”, “Suzie” and “Good Times or Bad Times” is inviting you to celebrate with them this very important milestone in their career.

The Dynamic Duo Burst onto the scenes in the late nineties when their album entitled “Everyone falls in love took off in the dancehall and international arenas. The single of the same name went on to win numerous awards including an ASCAP for Song of the Year and South Florida Reggae Soca Awards. Tanto Metro and Devonte’s instant chemistry and melodic sounds catapulted the duo into the U.S Top 40 R&B and Pop Billboard Charts as fans all over the world requested the duo’s unique sound.

In 2001 The Dynamic Duo released their follow up album “The Beat Goes On”. The single “Give It To Her” instantly gained recognition among Jamaican and us dancehall audiences as well as the mainstream pop market. The Duo’s level of recognition started to grow as they toured countries all over the world in regions such as Japan, Africa, Europe, U.S.A and Canada and have performed with such big names as Mariah Carey, Eminem, Ne-yo, T.I and the list goes on.

Tanto Metro and Devonte’s third album entitled Musically Inclined was released in March 2006 and has produced crossover hits such as “Good Times and Bad Times” “Got News For You” and “Burn”. The album was released on VP Records and has solidified Tanto Metro and Devonte as The Dynamic Duo of Dancehall.

Currently the duo have been in the studio recording for new projects such as the Dj Denox produced track “Sometimes Yes Sometimes No” and has been shooting videos for singles such as “Anytime” and “Bruk Out” their newest single on the Dimmie Joe Muzik’s Bad To The Bone Riddim. Since 2008 the Dynamic Duo have performed in such places as St Kitts and Nevis, North Carolina, Detroit, Atlanta, Daytona Beach, New York, Massachusetts, Uganda and Kampala just to name a few.

In honor of their ten (10) years of successful hit making in the music industry, The Duo is scheduled to perform all over the world this year including, Canada, Europe, Africa, Australia, The Caribbean, as well as North, South and Central America.

Tanto Metro and Devonte to Perform at The UCLA Jazz Reggae Fest 09

Tanto Metro and Devonte are scheduled to perform on the UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival 09 along with the likes of Erykah Badu, De La Soul, Leela James, Mavado, Assassin, Cherine Anderson and many more. The event is a two day festival to be held in California on May 24th and 25th during The Memorial Day Weekend. The Dynamic Duo will perform on the second day of the festival entitled Reggae Day. Come out this Memorial Day Weekend and help them celebrate 10 years of hit making as a duo in the music industry.

Dan Lou’s Video “Mamma” Now Showing on Hype TV

The time all you fans have been waiting for is finally here. Dan Lou’s video for his new single “Mamma” is now playing on Hype TV. The video “Mamma” is Dan Lou’s first video and was shot on location in Kingston, Jamaica by video director Nordia Rose.

The video and single “Mamma” are currently out on the deejays label Dimmie Joe Muzik. In a recent interview Dan Lou was quoted as saying “I give thanks for everyone who helped me build up my career to this level over the years. Things have been going good for me so far and I hope this new video will help take me to the next level and will create more exposure for me on the music scene.”
